What do you enjoy about pediatrics? Watching children grow and meet their potential.

What do you enjoy doing when your not at work? Family, puzzles and gardening and watching sports (especially the Miami Heat).

Tell us about your family. I am married to Kevin Mahoney and 3 adult children (Nick, Kurt and Mary) and one granddaughter (Millie).

What is an interesting fact about yourself? I was a competitive swimmer.

If you could take one thing to a deserted island what would it be? Books.

If you weren’t in the medical field what would you be? A Missionary.

Tell us an interesting story about your childhood. At age 11 I attended a program through our swim team called Action for Excellence which taught the power of setting goals and positive thinking.
